Carao:
The all-natural treatment for equine anemia*
carao tree increase blood count against anemia

Stress, training, racing and medication use can result in less than optimum blood counts in performance and racehorses. Stomach ulcers, anti-inflammatories and pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH) all lead to anemic conditions.

As a thoroughbred trainer, for more than 30 years I have faced the challenges of raising blood counts in order to improve the performance of the horses in my care. We all know that horses that are anemic simply do not have the ability to last in races and will quickly fade when they run out of oxygen.

Oral vitamin supplements, injectable vitamins such as B-12 liver and iron, and caco copper have historically been the treatments of choice that horsemen used to combat anemia. Well, no more!

carao increase blood count against anemia

While searching for an anti-anemic for my dad (who is 91 years young but suffered from chronically low RBC and hemoglobin), I came upon an amazing discovery from the forest of Central America. The Carao Fruit products (pronounced ca-rah-oh) are a natural food that may quickly cure anemia, wipe away fatigue, increase strength and endurance and enhance athletic performance.

Horsemen report 10% increases in RBC and hemoglobin in 2 weeks, thus making carao a logical choice for transitioning off anabolics. All the benefits of increased strength, vitality, and oxygenated blood with no negative side effects. Once your horses have experienced these results, you too will be saying, “Wow that carao fruit!”

CARAO (pronounced ca-rah-oh) Facts:

Carao fruit is produced by the carao tree (Cassia grandis). This is a common deciduous subcanopy tree (15-25 m) notable for its striking, pastel-colored flowers as well as its persistent, strong-smelling, and cylindrical woody pods. Carao trees range from southern Mexico, to Surinam and Brazil.

Carao fruit is not a drug. In spite of its health-giving properties, carao fruit is not a medicine, but rather a pure, whole, natural food that naturally builds the blood for long-lasting benefits and energy.

Carao fruit is low in iron. This means it doesn't produce the unpleasant side effects of iron such as constipation and indigestion. See the chemical analysis of carao fruit on the right column of this page → .

Our recommendation is 10ml per 100 lbs. of body weight or 100ml daily, administered either in a dose syringe or mixed in the feed. From our experience, it usually takes 4 bottles to see a change in blood work, with 8 bottles being the amount for longer lasting effects.

We sell carao in sets of two 365ml bottles. You can purchase and buy carao by clicking here.

Carao fruit therapy has no side effects. Carao is a natural food with no known undesirable side effects. Carao fruit therapy can be combined with any drug treatment.

Carao Fruit product requires no refrigeration even after opening.

CR Natural's carao fruit product is wildcrafted in Costa Rica through a very labor-intensive process, requiring large quantities of hand-picked carao fruit obtained from scattered wild trees. The supply is limited, and 2005 was the first year that supply kept up with demand. Update Dec. 2007: CR Natural, Inc. reports adequate supply through March, 2008 when new inventory will be made. The company is currently shipping next-business-day after orders are received.

A scientific study was done on the effectiveness of carao fruit on blood deficiencies. Please click here for the English summary of the carao study or the entire text in Spanish.
